9.00

Hagar Qim is a megalithic temple complex on the island of Malta. The builders of Hagar Qim used coral limestone. Malta’s megalithic temples are among the oldest religious sites on Earth, described by the World Heritage Committee as “unique architectural masterpieces.”

The coin is notable for the fact that it has the marks of the Paris mint on each side of the year of issue: on the left is a cornucopia, on the right is the pentagon of the engraver Yves Sampo.
