2 euro Luxembourg 2019 – Universal Suffrage

To the left of the coin is a portrait of His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri and to the right is a ballot box in which a human hand inserts a ballot paper. At the bottom of the image is the name of the issuing country “LUXEMBOURG”. At the top, in a semicircle, is the inscription ‘Centenaire du suffrage universel’ (100th anniversary of the universal suffrage) and below it the numbers ‘1919-2019’, the last of which is the year in which the coin was issued. The outer ring of the coin depicts the 12 stars of the European Union flag.
