Beijng opera is one of the most famous forms of traditional Chinese opera in China and the rest of the world. Combines music, vocal parts, mime, dancing and acrobatics. Since 2010, it has been inscribed on the UNESCO List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Beijing opera is a precious national heritage of China and is so called because, as an independent theater genre, it was born and formed in Beijing. Beijing opera has been around for more than 200 years.
