The coin opens a new seven-coin collection commemorating the 25th anniversary of the release of The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, the trilogy became one of the most famous and ambitious projects in the history of world cinema, forever capturing Middle-earth, its heroes, and legends on the big screen. Each issue of the collection will be dedicated to a separate element of the famous story, and the first coin focuses on one of the most recognizable symbols of the entire saga: the One Ring.

The coin’s reverse depicts the Eye of Sauron, set in a composition reminiscent of the One Ring. The obverse features a portrait of King Charles III. The coin comes with original themed packaging dedicated to the history and fate of the One Ring. Created in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, this issue makes an ideal gift for both Lord of the Rings fans and collectors.
