The Noah’s Ark series of silver investment coins was launched in July 2011 by the Bank of Armenia. Coins of a different denomination with a similar design were also issued. Investment coins in the Republic of Armenia can be used as a means of payment almost without restrictions, with the exception of coins issued in 2013. They are put into circulation on the international market.
