Coin set – Afghanistan
€7.00
The set consists of three Afghan coins in denominations of 1, 2, and 5 afghani. They began to be issued after the 2002-2004 currency reform, when Afghanistan replaced the old currency and stabilized the afghani after a long war. They are used in everyday circulation.
The obverse of the coins depicts the country’s national emblem—a mosque with a minbar and mihrab, surrounded by a wreath of wheat ears. The reverse displays the year of issue and the denomination.
