Coin set – Russia

Already in the medieval federation of Kievan Rus, coins were minted with the image of St. George slaying the dragon. He is the patron saint of Moscow and is depicted on the obverses of the kopecks of this set. Obverses of ruble coins are decorated with the coat of arms of Russia. This is the first series of coins of the second Russian ruble put into circulation during the 1998 monetary reform. On the reverses of all coins, the denominations and ornaments are indicated. There is also a hidden image on the 10 ruble coin.
