Silver Coin Athenian Owl – The Little Owl in color immortalizes the famous coin with an owl motif over 2000 years old – “Attic Tetradrachm”. The owl has always symbolized strength, wisdom and knowledge. The motif depicts an owl sitting on a branch, a crescent moon and an olive branch, which symbolize peace. Next to the owl are the Greek letters alpha, theta and epsilon – this is the ancient Greek abbreviation for the city of Athens.

On the reverse there is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, produced in 2021 and the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II”, “NIUE” and “TWO DOLLARS”.
