1 pound sterling silver coin St. Helena 2021 – Angel Napoleon

First edition of the “Napoleon’s Angel” series from the London East India Company.

Napoleon Bonaparte is one of the most famous and controversial national leaders of the past 200 years. He grew up on the island of Corsica to become Emperor of France. Bonaparte died 200 years ago in exile on the island of Saint Helena, but is buried in Paris, where twelve stone angels guard his last refuge.

The obverse depicts an angel watching a tombstone with an “N” in the center, and also indicates the weight and purity of the metal. On the reverse side there is an image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in the third generation, as well as the country of issue, the year of issue and the denomination of the coin.
