The coin is minted in recognition of all professionals dedicated to the fight against COVID-19 in Spain.
The central obverse depicts a map of Spain in the colors of the Spanish flag. Below the image of the map of Spain and within the circle appear as a fourfold hidden image: the image of the virus that causes COVID-19, the mint mark, the image of two hands clapping, and the indicated number 20 (year of minting). In a circle, there are ten pictograms dedicated to the main workers – the heroes of the pandemic. At the bottom of the coin are two pairs of hands clapping, a mint mark and the inscription “Thank you” in capital letters.
The reverse depicts Their Majesties King Don Felipe and Donna Letizia. Around the circle there is an inscription “FELIPE VI Y LETIZIA”, below the country of the issuer and the date of issue of the coin “ESPAÑA 2020”.
