Coin set – Lebanon

The set consists of five Lebanese coins in denominations of 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500 lira. While they remain formally in circulation and are legal tender, due to high inflation they are rarely used in everyday transactions, giving way to banknotes.

The obverse of the coins displays the denomination in Arabic, with a cedar tree—the country’s national symbol—in the background. The reverse displays the denomination in Latin and is decorated with stylized ornaments.
