2 Euro Spain 2026 – Disability

The reform of Article 49 of the 2024 Spanish Constitution is an important step towards the full social inclusion of people with disabilities. It eliminates outdated terminology such as “disabled” replacing it with the term “person with a disability.” The new version obligates public authorities to guarantee the rights, promote autonomy, and protect women and children with disabilities.
