Coin set – Egypt

The set consists of five Egyptian coins in denominations of 5, 10, 25, and 50 piastres, and one Egyptian pound. They are the country’s legal tender.

The coin design reflects Egypt’s cultural and historical heritage. The reverse features illustrations of the Mohammed Ali Mosque in the Saladin Citadel, Cleopatra’s profile, Tutankhamun’s mask, and a decorative vase. The obverse displays the denomination and the year of issue according to the Gregorian and Hijri calendars (both in Arabic).
