Coin set – Bahrain

The set consists of five Bahraini coins, in denominations of 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 fils. This is a modern series of coins, introduced after the currency reform of 1965–1973, when the rupee was replaced by the dinar.

Bahrain’s coins reflect elements of its picturesque natural landscape and local cultural heritage—palm trees, the traditional dhow boat, ancient rock carvings, and the country’s coat of arms—making them both functional and symbolic of national identity. The coins’ reverses bear their denominations.
