Coin set – Eritrea

The set consists of five Eritrean coins in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50 cents. It is legal tender.

The coin design is dedicated to the region’s rich fauna. The obverse depicts animals such as the greater kudu, the Grevy’s zebra, the North African ostrich, the leopard, and the red-fronted gazelle. The reverse depicts soldiers with the national flag, symbolizing the struggle for independence and reminding us of the value of freedom and pride in our country.
