Coin set – Kenya

The set consists of five Kenyan coins in denominations of 50 cents, 1, 5, 10, and 20 shillings. This is an obsolete series of coins, no longer in active circulation.

The obverse of the coins displays the denomination and the Kenyan coat of arms—a shield with spears supported by two lions. The reverse features a portrait of the first president and “Father of the Kenyan Nation,” Jomo Kenyatta.
