Coin set – Botswana

The set consists of seven Botswana coins in denominations of 5, 10, 25, and 50 thebe and 1, 2, and 5 pula. The current series of coins was introduced in the late 1990s and is still in circulation.

Botswana’s coins share a common theme: the obverse depicts various birds and animals symbolizing the rich fauna of the African savannah and national parks. The reverse side of all coins features the Botswana coat of arms.
