Coin set – Guyana
€6.00
The set consists of three Guyanese coins in denominations of 1, 5, and 10 dollars. This series was introduced in 1996 and remains the country’s official currency, although such small denominations are rare due to inflation.
The obverse of all coins features the national coat of arms of Guyana: two jaguars holding a shield with a river, a lily, and other natural symbols. The reverse depicts scenes of rice harvesting, sugarcane cultivation, and gold mining—the three key pillars of Guyana’s economy.
