Coin Set – Ghana

The set consists of five Ghanaian coins in denominations of 10, 20, and 50 pesewas, 1, and 2 cedis. Although the smaller denominations from this series are rarely seen in circulation, the coins are still considered legal tender in the country.

The obverse of the coins features the coat of arms of Ghana—two eagles holding a shield. The reverse features images symbolizing the country’s economy, education, government, and everyday life: a cocoa pod, an open book with a pen, an image of a woman, a pair of scales, and the residence of the President of Ghana.
