Coin Set – Sweden

The set consists of nine Swedish coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, and 50 øre and 1, 2, and 5 kronor. øre coins are no longer used in cash circulation. Older kronor coins are rare but remain legal tender, although the design of modern Swedish coins has changed.

The coin’s design emphasizes Sweden’s centuries-old monarchical traditions. Royal symbols are prominently featured in the design, including crowns, the national coat of arms, the monogram, and the portrait of King Carl XVI Gustaf, as well as the portrait of King Gustaf VI Adolf. The reverse side of coins displays their face value.
