Coin Set – Suriname

The set consists of six Surinamese coins in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 25, 100, and 250 cents. They are legal tender.

The obverse of the series features the coat of arms of Suriname, supported by two natives: a shield with a palm tree and a sailing ship, symbolizing the country’s colonial past, its natural wealth, and its commitment to development and prosperity. The reverse side of the coins displays their face value, framed by stylized designs.
