Coin Set – Sri Lanka

The set consists of 10 Sri Lankan coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 cents and 1, 2, 5, 10 rupees. They are legal tender.

The obverse of the series features the coat of arms of Sri Lanka—a Sinhalese lion holding a sword, surrounded by the Wheel of Dharma, and a Buddhist bowl beneath. The reverse side of the coins displays their face value and is decorated with minimalist floral designs. A distinctive feature of Sri Lankan coins is their unique shapes: for example, the 2 and 10 cents are octagonal, flower-shaped, and the 5 cents are square.
