Coin set – Myanmar
€10.00
The set consists of five Myanmar coins in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 50, and 100 kyat. This series began issuing in 1999. Due to high inflation, the coins have been largely replaced by paper banknotes and are rarely seen, although they remain legal tender.
The obverse of the coins depicts the mythical Chinte lion, one of the main symbols of Myanmar. The reverse side shows the denomination of the coins, decorated with a simple floral pattern.
