Coin set – Cuba

The set consists of five Cuban coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 20 centavos, and 3 pesos. They are the country’s legal tender.

The reverse of the 3-peso coin features a portrait of Cuban national hero Ernesto Che Guevara, who played a key role in the revolution that brought a new government to power and transformed the country. The reverse of the 1, 2, 5, and 20 centavo coins features the denomination enclosed in a five-pointed star and the motto “Homeland or Death” as a curved inscription above. The obverse of the coins features the Cuban coat of arms.
