Coin set – Syria

The set consists of four Syrian coins in denominations of 5, 10, 25, and 50 pounds. They are legal tender.

The coin design reflects Syria’s architectural heritage, including such iconic landmarks as the Aleppo Citadel Gate, the ancient city of Palmyra, the Central Bank building, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The obverse of the coins features the country’s coat of arms—a Quraysh hawk with two stars on a shield, holding a ribbon bearing the inscription “Syrian Arab Republic.”
