Coin set – Namibia

The set consists of five Namibian coins in denominations of 10, 20, 50 cents, and 1.5 dollars. They are legal tender.

The obverse of the coins features the national coat of arms—a shield supported by two antelopes. The reverse design reflects the country’s key industries and natural features: agriculture is represented by pearl millet, renewable energy by windmills and the sun, tourism by the Sossusvlei Valley and the withered trees of Deadvlei, trade by a coin exchange scene, and mining by an image of a rough and cut diamond. This theme highlights Namibia’s economic foundation, its natural wealth, and its commitment to sustainable development.
