Coin set – Solomon Islands

The set consists of seven Solomon Islands coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents, and 1 dollar. They are legal tender.

The coin series features designs and objects reflecting the region’s cultural and religious traditions. The reverse features images of a food bowl, an eagle spirit, an indigenous mask, the Ngaryeru sea spirit, a Malaita pendant design, the Ngaryeru sea spirit, the Solomon Islands coat of arms, and the head of the Nusa Nusa sea spirit. The obverse features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
