Coin set – Uruguay

The set consists of four Uruguayan coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5, and 10 pesos. They are legal tender.

The reverse of the coins depicts representatives of the local fauna: an armadillo, a capybara, a rhea, and a puma. The obverse of the coins features the national coat of arms—a shield divided into four parts with symbols of strength, freedom, abundance, and labor, crowned with a sun and surrounded by laurel and olive branches.
