Coin set – Mexico

The set consists of seven Mexican coins in denominations of 10, 20, and 50 centavos and 1, 2, 5, and 10 pesos. They are legal tender.

The obverse of all coins features the national coat of arms—a Mexican golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus and devouring a snake. The reverse displays the denomination, surrounded by traditional ornaments. The 10 peso coin is decorated with a circle of Aztec sunstone depicting Tonatiuh with a fire mask.
